28 Misguided Fans Who Think They’ve Met An Actual Celebrity.
Celebrities are public figures. We see them in the media every single day. We watch their movies, their television shows, their music videos, all the way down to their red carpet appearances.
The more famous a person is, the less privacy they have, the more likely they are to be spotted by a random fan. You would think people would be able to point out a celebrity when they see one. More often than not, people mistake strangers for celebrities but I must admit that some of these mistaken celebrities really could pass as their doppelgängers. The rest of them… let's just say some people need to get their eyes checked.
#1. "I met Sean Penn at a New Years party."
I’m sure you attended a New Years party, and you met someone, but I don’t think it was Sean Penn.
#2. Let's take a moment to think if Steven Tyler would really be at an Eagles concert.
Not sure, but it’s definitely not this guy.
#3. "Look, we recreated the Oscars selfie with Ellen Degeneres today!"
Well you created a selfie, but it wasn’t with Ellen. The hair is pretty close though.
#4. "I met Stan Lee you guys, I can't hold my excitement!"
Not just any old man with gray hair is Stan Lee.
#5. They must have been so starstruck at that moment.
Looks nothing like her. I wonder if they ever found out the harsh truth.
#6. Is that really Hodor from Game of Thrones?!
No, it really is not. I wonder how long it took him to figure it out.
#7. George Clooney on the subway, could it be?
More like George Clonie but very handsome. I bet he gets mistaken often.
#8. She thinks she met Bono.
But to be fair, he’s trying really hard to look and act like Bono with those glasses and that hair.
#9. Sorry boys, that's not Joe Pesci.
Not even close. He must have sweet talked you guys good.
#10. "Omg Taylor Hawkins, what are you doing in the crowd?"
Yeah because it makes total sense for the drummer of the Foo Fighters to be in the audience during a Foo Fighters concert.
#11. That moment when you THINK you've met a celebrity…
And then your bubble gets popped by the actual celebrity.
#12. They think they just met John Popper.
Little do they know, they didn’t. Maybe “John” got a few free drinks.
#13. "Usher came into my work today!!!"
C’mon, really? You need glasses buddy.
#14. When you get to meet a legend like Rod Stewart, you cherish that moment always.
This is not a moment to be cherished. How embarrassing!
#15. McLovin' from Superbad?!
Nope, don’t really see the resemblance. Maybe if my eyes are closed.
#16. "That's totally Louis CK right?!?!"
Not quite, almost there, try again.
#17. She thinks she met Zach Galifianakis…
Can someone get this girl a reality check?
#18. Again with the mistaken Zach Galifianakis.
It’s like none of you guys even watched Hangover.
#19. Alright, this guy really does look like Seth from the side.
He must be researching a new role. I would’ve fallen for it too.
#20. "I was totally sharing drinks with Bruno Mars last night!"
Girl, how many drinks did you drink to get you thinking that is Bruno?
#21. It really does sadden me to see such terribly mistaken girls.
You can almost cringe at the embarrassment.
#22. "Found Ozzy Osbourne in the pit before a Black Sabbath concert."
Did you, did you really? Look very hard at the photo. You must be drunk.

I wonder if she would still be just as happy had she known she was taking a picture with just some average stranger dude.
#24. She thinks Will Smith is behind her on the ride.
Celebrities do sometimes sneak in a day at an amusement park, this is not one of those days.
#25. One of the best Owen Wilson look-a-likes I've ever seen.
He’s got the hair down well but I wonder if he says “to be honest” all the time like Owen does.
#26. "Found Steve Aoki in the crowd!!"
You should have asked him to remove his sunglasses before proceeding to take the photo with “Steve.”
#27. Someone mistakened a Kansas City fan as Ken Jeong, so the real Ken Jeong had to shut it down.
Seriously, you guys really didn’t watch Hangover.
#28. Shame on you two for thinking that was Snoop Dogg and actually posting to social media.
Kudos to the guy that fooled them. I wonder if he smoked them out.
